While we primarily provide acute/urgent care services, we are contracted with some insurance carriers under primary care. The benefit to the patient is lower co-pays for an office visit. The downside is we cannot see patients covered under an HMO plan without a referral from the Primary Care Physician (PCP) listed on the insurance card. The one exception to this rule is for Blue Cross Blue Shield as we are contracted as urgent care.
